Your images are never stored, never logged, never shared. Processed in RAM and deleted instantly.
A quick overview of our image privacy commitments
Every image you upload is handled with strict confidentiality and processed solely to remove its background.
All data is transferred through SSL/TLS-encrypted tunnels. Your images are never sent over unencrypted connections.
Images you upload and the processed results are never shared with third parties, advertisers, or AI training datasets.
We delete both the original and result image instantly after processing. Files live only in server RAM during active requests.
Apart from the above, we also keep anonymous usage statistics (without images). If you contact us by email, we receive only the data you share, used solely to reply to your message.
A complete, transparent breakdown of how HDRemover handles data.
Protecting your personal data while using HDRemover is our responsibility. We exclusively process data based on applicable legal regulations. The information below explains the different processes that involve your data and the rights you are entitled to under data protection guidelines.
We are always willing to discuss any complaints, questions, and suggestions that concern data protection. You may contact us at support@hdremover.com at any time.
We process data that you disclose to us and data that is collected automatically as you use our website. Where this Privacy Policy is presented in a language other than English, the English version shall prevail in the event of any dispute.
HDRemover processes images strictly in real-time using GPU-accelerated AI inference. We do not write your original or processed images to any disk, database, or persistent storage system.
Files exist only in server RAM during active processing and are permanently destroyed the moment your request completes — typically within a few seconds. We do not retain thumbnails, previews, metadata, or any derivative of your images.
Apart from image processing, we keep anonymized usage statistics (without images). If you contact us by email, we receive only the personal data you choose to share in that communication, which is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
3.1 — Contact inquiries
If you contact us by email, we process your name and email address in order to handle your inquiry and perform any pre-contractual or contractual measures you have requested. This data is used only to respond to you and is never shared externally.
3.2 — Business relationships
If a business relationship is established (e.g., API access or enterprise plans), your data may be processed to fulfil contractual obligations including invoicing, service delivery, and support. Data may be shared with legal representatives, accountants, tax advisers, or courts where legally required.
3.3 — Direct marketing
We process your data for marketing communications only with your explicit consent or based on a legitimate interest in informing you about our services. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@hdremover.com.
4.1 — Server logs
We do not ask for personal data while you use our website. Our web server automatically collects standard technical data transmitted when your browser connects — such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the page requested, date and time, and referring URL. This data is used only to maintain system security, manage infrastructure, and optimize service quality. Server logs are stored for a maximum of 90 days and are never shared with third parties except in the event of a legally mandated disclosure (e.g. a security incident).
4.2 — Cookies & analytics
HDRemover may use cookies and anonymous analytics tools (such as aggregated page-view counters or geographic traffic data) to monitor server health and improve the user experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We do not use cookies to identify you personally. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use our core tools. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking platforms that profile individual users.
HDRemover will never sell, rent, license, or share your images or any usage data with advertisers, AI training dataset providers, or third-party agencies.
Your files are yours — we are simply the processing pipeline that returns them to you with the background removed. Transmission of personal data to third parties occurs only where legally required (e.g., courts or regulatory authorities) and never for commercial purposes.
All data transferred between your browser and HDRemover servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We do not operate over unencrypted HTTP connections. Any API keys or session tokens are handled using industry-standard JWT encryption with short-lived expiration windows.
Where HDRemover integrates with payment processors (e.g., for Pro plans), payment data is handled directly by PCI-DSS-certified providers and is never transmitted to or stored on HDRemover servers.
The core HDRemover tool requires no registration, login, or personal information. We collect zero personally identifiable information (PII) from users of the free tool. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment details.
Any tool history or preferences you see in your browser are stored locally in your own browser session using browser localStorage and are never transmitted to our servers.
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where relevant), you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Object to or restrict processing of your data • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@hdremover.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you have questions about how HDRemover handles data, contact us at support@hdremover.com. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of HDRemover after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
